Dear valued customers and friends of Bedco Mobility,
We want our loyal customers to be aware of the following update as we deal with this constantly changing environment together. As of 4/1/20, we are still open and able to provide sales, installation, and service as an essential business in the State of Maryland and will continue to do so to the best of our ability so long as it is in a safe manner and environment.
As mentioned in our earlier post regarding the virus and these changing times, our highest priority remains taking all steps to ensure the health and well-being of both our employees and customers. We are following all the CDC recommended safety precautions so our technicians are protecting themselves, their families and our customers with antibacterial cleaning supplies and personal protective gear including gloves, masks, and booties for their shoes. The technicians also have work paper to lay tools on.
We have put in place steps to limit interactions and social distance by restricting all outbound appointments to sales, essential installation & service only. Less essential items have been suspended until the state of emergency is over. We will be reaching out prior to any outbound work to coordinate and jointly decide on the safety of the scheduled appointment. If customers have an installation or other in-home service scheduled and want to postpone to a later date, we’ll be happy to reschedule. For the time being, for any automotive shop service we will offer free pick up and delivery within a restricted radius so that a customer does not need to leave their home and come to our office.
From a sales and consultation side, we have three options for someone inquiring about a stairlift, wheelchair lift, or accessible van:
First – We are still able to come out to do an on-site or in-home appointment with the salesperson following the same protocols listed above.
Second – We can schedule a office-showroom appointment or test drive, but they are by appointment-only so that we can coordinate and limit amount of people on site.
Last – We are able to schedule virtual, video-based appointments to evaluate applications and demonstrate products interactively one on one. This way no one needs to leave their home or have anyone in their home. Please call to schedule.
We apologize for any inconvenience but all measures taken are in the safety of staff and customers. Thank you for your understanding.
This is an unprecedented and difficult time, as difficult as one we’ve ever encountered in our decades of service in the Mid-Atlantic Area. We owe it to our employees and our customers to try and see this through as we weather this together. Please hang in there, Stay Healthy, & Be Safe!
