Project Description

In 2014 we replaced a custom stairlift in NW DC that we had installed in 1968, and it was still working!

The lift had been used inside the home generationally just as BEDCO has operated through three generations now. The family decided it was finally time for an upgrade and the lift was replaced with a Stannah 260 Sofia Stairlift.

Josias Cromwell had measured for the original unit by hand and 46 years later his grandson Will Cromwell measured the replacement digitally. (One of Josias’s business cards attached)
