Skilled In-House Mechanics
Unlike sellers who only ship product, Bedco Mobility employs trained, certified technicians who handle service, repair, and installation in-house. When your dealer leaves the area or closes for good, your equipment still needs care — and we provide it.
- Repairs and maintenance on existing vans, lifts & driving aids
- Diagnostics for equipment from manufacturers we carry
- Re-installation and adjustments when switching vehicles
- Honest service assessments and free sales estimates
New Equipment, New Warranties
When it's time to upgrade, we sell and professionally install a full range of accessible vehicles and equipment — each backed by a full manufacturer warranty plus our own in-house labor warranty:
- New & used wheelchair accessible vans
- Scooter, wheelchair & platform lifts
- Adaptive driving controls & seating
- Factory-certified installation that protects your warranty
A closed dealer can leave your old warranty stranded. New equipment installed by Bedco comes with fresh coverage and a local team that stands behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers for customers whose mobility dealer has closed or relocated.
Where can I get my wheelchair van serviced now that my dealer closed?
Bedco Mobility welcomes customers whose dealer has left the area or closed — including former customers of MobilityWorks in Windsor Mill, M.I.T.S. in Glen Rock, PA, and AutoAssist, Inc. in College Park, MD. Our skilled in-house mechanics service, repair, and maintain wheelchair accessible vans, lifts, and driving aids throughout Maryland and the Washington, D.C. area. Contact us to schedule service.
Which mobility brands do you sell and service?
We are an authorized dealer for Vantage Mobility (VMI), BraunAbility, Bruno, Ricon, SureGrip, and Mobility Innovations — covering accessible vans, scooter and platform lifts, and adaptive driving aids.
Do you install hand controls and other adaptive driving aids?
Yes. We install and adjust hand controls, left-foot accelerators, steering aids, transfer seats, and tie-down systems. Some adaptive controls require a written recommendation from a Driving Rehabilitation Specialist, and we can help coordinate that evaluation.
If I buy new equipment, does it come with a warranty?
Yes. New vans, lifts, and driving aids we sell come with a full manufacturer warranty, and our factory-certified installation is covered by our own in-house labor warranty. Because we install the equipment ourselves, the work won't void your manufacturer coverage — and you have a local team to call if anything ever needs attention.
How long has Bedco Mobility been in business?
