What Happens at Your Free Estimate

Your in-home estimate typically takes 30–45 minutes. Here’s what we cover:

1. We measure your stairway. That includes width, length, headroom, and the clearances at the top and bottom landings. For curved stairs, we use a digital photo measuring system accurate to the millimeter.
2. We talk about how you’ll use it. That means who will ride it, any mobility needs, and where the lift should park so your stairs stay clear for everyone else.
3. We review your options. That includes Stannah Stairlift and Bruno Stairlift models, new, reconditioned, or rental. If a used stairlift makes more sense for you, we’ll tell you.
4. You get an itemized quote. Installation is included, and the quote has no hidden fees.
5. You decide when you’re ready. We never use pressure tactics, and your quote doesn’t expire overnight.

Prefer to meet virtually? Video appointments fit around your schedule. For straight staircases, we can often give you a complete quote right from the video call. Curved stairlifts are custom-built, so we’ll follow up with a quick in-home measurement before finalizing.

After You Say Yes

• Straight stairlifts are stocked in our Baltimore warehouse and are often installed within the same week as your estimate. Installation typically takes about half a day.
• Curved stairlifts are custom-built. You’ll approve a layout drawing before manufacturing begins, and installation usually takes about a day once the rail arrives.
• Before we leave, we demonstrate the lift and make sure you’re comfortable using it.
• No-interest financing is available through Synchrony for new units.
